Aur agar fine brush painting se aap darte ho, Fevicryl Acrylic Markers will be game changer for you! Sirf stencil leke go playing with it, much like a DIY therapy 😇 Dual tip ke sath 24 shades available hai, you’ll be spoilt for choices. Khud karo, bachcho ke sath karo, anybody can use them ✌🏻
Here’s what all you need to do -
➡️ PREPARATION:
For any furniture makeover, prep work is very important. Seedhe painting kabhi mat shuru karna ❌ Use 220 grit sand paper for sanding your piece so that colour sticks, gaps & cracks ko fill karo with wood filler (use teak shade always) and structural changes (if any) wo bhi kar lo like i added a base for my drawers.
➡️ PRIMING:
Next is priming with a water based white primer (can go for any Interior Primer). I went with a spraying gun but aap 4 inch roller and small brush use karna. If primer deposits anywhere after drying, halki si sanding fir kar lena for smooth surface.
➡️ PAINTING:
Use any matte-finish paint. Apply 2 coats and let it dry. For slightly aged look (if you want to go a step further) take 2 shades (1 lighter and 1 darker) than your chosen colour and do shading with a sponge 🧽 specifically corners and edges. Smoother the blending of colours, better the output ✨
➡️ DESIGNING:
Faux bone inlay technique is the easiest. Just grab some border stencils, Fevicryl Acrylic Markers and go filling the designs. Remember to use masking tape for keeping the stencil intact.
➡️ FINISHING TOUCHES:
Always seal your paint with matte-finish varnish or lacquer. Add bold artistic knobs (like the DIY ones I showed) and make border with a different colour to cut the monotony.
That’s it your boring old furniture has been transformed into 🆕 ✨

So every time I take up a project like this jaha chote chote elements hote hai, a good glue can either make it or break it! And this time literally amazed me 😱 Instant adhesion, multi-surface pe kaam karta hai and can be easily removed without any stain Next time when you’ve a party at home and you’re still struggling with all kind of tapes, meri maano try Fevicol Glue Drops 🙌🏻
Here’s all what I did to build this CRAFT CART 🛒-
➡️ CART STRUCTURE: Toh maine 3 crates and ek metal stand kabaad se uthaya tha for ₹450/- Simply screw the crates onto the stand and add a DIY pegboard on top (used a leftover HDHMR board with holes drilled 4 cm apart)
➡️ CANOPY: Now this is optional but basic is illegal for me 😜 Follow the process as shown in video, just remember to coat your wood stain with clear varnish on top for that sheen. Also detailings matter so I added a laser cut MDF trim on both sides (available on amazon)
➡️ 1st CRATE: Here I hand cut wine glass bottles (process mai pehle reels me bata chuka hu). Few I used to store brushes and few with cork lids as dabbas. Here I also used denim pockets, made a cardboard organiser covered in jute and then added pockets on top. For colour pop, added few patches.
➡️ 2nd CRATE: Added a stepper for my paints and then two tiny frames 🖼️ coloured and varnish protected. Here I added 2 chairs 🪑 which can be used to hang your craft supplies like tapes etc
➡️ 3rd CRATE: Gift boxes 📦 were wrapped in jute fabric and bordered with crochet laces (all done with Fevicol Glue Drops only 😉) And I also made name tags for all 3 crates using wooden planks and alphabets made using silicon mould and mouldit clay.
Some more elements here and there, and our CRAFT CART was ready 👨🎨🎨

Dragonfly Wall Art ka idea wahi se mila, here’s how I did it -
➡️ Firstly ghar me purane fans jo ab usable nahi the, unko dismantle kiya (you can also get them from scrapyards for ₹100-200). Wanted 2 of them, so cut down the blades slightly on one with grinder cutter for a good composition.
➡️ Next 2 furniture legs liye (longer the better for dragonfly’s tail). Sanded them and coloured in Asian Paints Emporio NXT Yellow Gold shade.
➡️ The basic mechanism is like - Wooden Leg as the tail and Fan blades as the wings and both are hooked using metal pipe clamps 🗜️ so blades pe drill a hole and apply white primer.
➡️ This time I was doing Bandhej and Madras Check Texture. Base coat is simple, just 2 coats of Asian Paints Emulsion. Bandhej has an extra step, where we follow (Emusion - crushed Crinkle paper - Emulsion) process for a crumpled base effect.
➡️ For the topcoat, bring Asian Paints Royale Play Metallics. Bandhej me add a layer of topcoat, gently mix using sponge and then create ⭕️ patterns. Madras Checks ke liye make squares (I chose 2 inch wide) and then take a pattern roller dip it in topcoat and make lines as shown in video.
➡️ Lastly assemble the dragonfly, add air dry clay on the clamps for detailing, do the wiring connection and add glass heads in the end.
Your Dragonfly Wall Lights are readdyyyy 💡

Thanks to Fevikwik Makeover Challenge main aisa kuch soch paaya with my old plastic chair 🪑
Aap bhi part lo in the challenge and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to ₹1 lakh weekly and the grand prize worth up to ₹5 lakhs for real life makeover jaisa maine kiya 🙌🏻
Aap website generated video post karke bhi ₹5000 tak weekly prizes jeet sakte hai! Bas don’t forget to tag and use #FevikwikMakeover.
Now for Chair Makeover here’s everything I did -
➡️ Koi bhi purani plastic chair pe drill some holes and fix in metal rods. You can screw them at the bottom and use glue for more adhesion. For more depth in built, maine balls aur tin cans se kuch skewers banaye (yasss just like your tikkas 😝) and attached them below the arms.
➡️ Fir jitte bhi plastic bottles bacha ke rakhe the, recycled them. Added one by one in the rods to give it a cactus like formation.
TIP: Use similar shaped bottles for best look
➡️ Now to bring cactus together, used papier mâché method. Just soak egg carton pieces in water overnight. Next day grind it in mixer & strain out all water. Take grinded carton, glue and white cement mixture in 50:30:20 ratio and make a sticky gooey paste.
➡️ Thoda thoda leke start putting on the bottles. Remember ki aap curves and edges ache se define kar rahe ho. Once dried (24-48 hrs later), sand it lightly with 120 grit paper and a slurry layer (same dough paste diluted in good amount of water) for smoothness.
NOTE: The top part became heavy that the chair went flipping backwards so we had to insert rods in both front legs and cover with same paste for stability.
➡️ Add a coat of primer and then just Paint Paint in your colour choices. I used Chalk Paints here. Always use varnish in the end as a protective coating.
That’s how our chair went from boringgg to BOLD 🤩

Strawberries, Cherry Tomatoes, Lettuce, Capsicum, Broccoli - you name it and we have it!
This was my 3rd year of being a Terrace Gardener aur har ek season kuch naya sikha jata hai. Not every seed grows ….and that’s okay! Some things need time, not pressure 💨 And that growth is quiet, slow….and still magical 🌱
Trust me when I say this, Gardening as a hobby turns into a passion without you even knowing it and that’s the best part about it.
✨ KITCHEN WASTE COMPOST PROCESS ✨
➡️ Did a 3-tier matka (clay pot) installation. Take 1 pot with a tap as your bottom and baaki 2 pots mein aapko holes drill karne hai for aeration.
➡️ Sabse pehle goes in your dry leaves, followed by kitchen waste (all things organic - peels, egg shells etc) and on top a handful of ready manure/compost. This will act as a starter culture, microorganisms present in it will start decomposing your waste.
➡️ I also add few jaagery pieces (soaked in water) for faster action. Fill the pot in 3 layers till top and then cover it with a lid. There will be liquid leaching out and settling in bottom matka. Ye aapka compost tea ☕️ hota hai, dilute 1-2 mugs in a bucket of water & feed your plants (they love it 😍)
➡️ Give a stir to the pot once in 5-7 days and in 45-60 days, your first batch of Kitchen Waste Compost will be ready 🪴
✨ MIXED VEGETABLE PICKLE RECIPE ✨
Cut all the veggies (cauliflower, knol kohl, broccoli, radish and carrots) and blanch in salted water for 15-20 mins. Dry on a cotton cloth in partial sunlight.
Now add all spices (all powdered)- Yellow Mustard, Jeera, Dried Red Chilly, Turmeric, Ajwain, Kalongi, Coriander, Saunf, Aamchur, Methi, Salt. Acha sa mustard oil daal ke mix mix and then store inside a barni. Keep it in sunlight for 4-5 days and then start consuming 😋

Coming to my dream upcycled CAR -
➡️ Maine sewing machine ko pehle dismantle kiya. Jitne bhi parts mujhe reuse karne the, cleaned rust from them. Simply just soak them in white vinegar and soda for 24 hrs. Next day brush off the rust and wipe with a cloth.
➡️ For tyres I went to a sewing machine repair shop and got 4 old wheels (no longer in use). Unko nut & bolts se join kiya and made the car skelton as shown in video.
➡️ For the front wing of the car, I used hangers and measuring scales. Glued the hanger parts together, moulded the shape slightly by adding aluminium foil in gaps and used air dry on top for a finished look. NOTE: Clay on drying started getting cracks so I added a tissue glue layer on top. Arrange scales like a wing, cut them with a grinder and ek slit lagake fit them in between.
➡️ Rear wing ke liye I picked up discarded car parts from a scrap point. Layered one over the other and top pe used 3 serving spoons (bent slightly with a 🔨) Use glue only with smaller parts, for heavy joining ask a welder to help.
➡️ Once the structure got ready, filled the gaps with suitable filler (epoxy 🙌🏻). Added 2 coats of metal primer and upon drying started painting the car with enamel paints. Lastly some finishing touches with small parts, lights in front & back and the car was ready 😱

🌸 Soil Composition:
Mai personally use karta hu Soil (50%), Compost (30%), Cocopeat (20%) and Sand (10%). If you have access to neem cake and bone meal, add thoda thoda for rich nutrient content.
🍾 Homemade Soda:
You make ginger bug first. Add chopped ginger cubes in water with a teaspoon of sugar. Cover and keep in a dark spot for fermentation. After 2-4 days you’ll see bubbles floating, it’s ready to be poured in a glass bottle with a fav juice of your choice. Seal it tight and let it make fizz for 2-3 days. Refrigerate and pop when ready. Lemme know if you want a separate detailed video on them 🙌🏻
☘️ Microgreens:
There’s a separate video in my reels tab, please look at it for details.
🍅 Growbags for vegetables:
6ft x 2ft x 1ft for Cauliflowers, Cabbage, Broccoli, Zucchini, Radishes, Carrots
Cylindrical 12x12 inch for Tomatoes, Brinjal, Capsicum (1 seedling per bag for best results)
Shallow bags 15x6 inch or 24x6 inch for all Leafy greens

40 years back my parents built our home in Banaras with bare minimum. Iss ghar ke aangan me hum saare bade hue, yaha ki deewaron ne suna hume kabhi haste, kabhi rote aur papa mummy ki growth💰bhi yahi hui ✨
We never had to (atleast I’ll speak for myself as the youngest of the family) feel less or be devoid of any sort. But as they say all good things have an expiration date. Aaj ghar thoda thak sa gaya hai in keeping up with time, and shayad humari zaroorate bhi badal gayi hai.
Jo papa deke gaye hai, bas use aage badhane ja raha hu. Kuch cheezien ab bas yaadein ban jayengi and it’d pain my heart to see some special corners like my terrace go but as they say it’s the end of a beginning.
Toh suno, khud pe yakeen rakhna, TUM SAPNE DEKHNA ❤️
Bachpan se jo bhi chote chote dreams the - hall me ek sundar sa Jhoomar, ek skylight courtyard with a jhoola, ya fir a standing shower right in my garden 😜🌿 ab sab poora karunga mai!
Think about a marriage of traditional heirloom pieces set in a modern setting. Kaavi flooring, Athangudi tiles, Limewash, Terracotta cladding with lots of my Upcycling and refurnish projects - that’s what #projectGHAR is gonna be all about.
Toh aap bhi saath rehna till we do this together (Lamba project hoga, agar thoda kam dikhu toh samajh jana 🫶🏻)
Need your blessings & love 🧿

Humne vision boards banaye, sipped on hot toddy & froze this time in a DIY Frame magnet for everyone. And yass decor ke liye, all this was possible with by my side! Mai literally fan ban chuka hu inke poore collection ka which is definitely “Lighter on Pocket & Higher on Joy” 🤩 Highly highly recommend to check them once (online ya offline kahi bhi ✌🏻)
Now if you’re hosting a Terrace party like this, here’s what all I did that you may try -
➡️ GIANT PENCIL & BRUSH: These helped me set the party theme straightaway. Roughly you can understand from the video but if you want a detailed tutorial on how I made them, comments mein batana I’ll share it 👍🏻 And no expenses here, all done with waste things available.
➡️ FLOOR SEATING: This time I got 4 extendible poles done by my welder, very convenient to mark boundaries and hang string/bulb lights 💡 Fir apne regular wooden palettes, gadde and white sheets as usual.
➡️ TABLESCAPE: Saara game hai yaha layering ka of the best vases, candle stands, platters & more. Winters me flowers best aate hai, opt for Guldaudi & Gypsy. Because this was a Craft & Sip, plates ke jagah the easels with name of the person seated there 🤟🏻
➡️ FOOD COUNTER: Always have a separate table for parking your serving plates 🍽️ napkins, coasters and all your food spread out. Helps to create movement & no extras in your main arena.
➡️ UMBREALL LIGHTS: One of the highlights of my party, and very easy to make. Just some transparent umbrellas ☔️ and 2 rice lights of 5 mts wrapped in each of them. Lmk if you want a DIY video of these lights ✌🏻
Waise kya aap bhi aana chahoge aise Craft & Sip party me mere sath? Should we do this in different cities or my place only?
