I styled the lush, blossom-heavy stems to cascade downward, pairing their gentle flow with a striking hanging heliconia for a sharp, dramatic contrast.

- The Modern Twist -
Today’s arrangement centers on this striking, weathered vase. Its unique cradle-like shape and interconnected apertures offered the perfect canvas for a bold, modern design with a twist.
I used an abundant branch of double-flowered deutzia for the initial sense of flow. But, the real magic lies in the details: look closely and you’ll spot how I wove the leaf through the openings to connect all sides of the vase.
A small, vibrant bunch of red amaranth adds the perfect, playful finishing touch.
When designed with intention, everything connects beautifully❤️

I am incredibly humbled to have been elected as the lead representative for the Komon degree (一級師範顧問代表). To be chosen for this award, among such elite group of ikebana practitioners and to receive the award from the headmistress is a milestone I will cherish forever.

I conceived the show as a reverence to nature and the beauty of human connections. To illustrate this, I chose bamboo, as symbol of resilience (in its straight, upright form) and grace (in its swaying form). I believe the balance of strength and gentleness mirrors the very essence of human nature.
My sincere gratitude to Ms Geta Medeleanu (Deputy ambassador) for gracefully accepting to place the last flower of the arrangement with me.

I am deeply grateful for the affectionate and welcoming reception we experienced in Bucharest during the ‘Zephyros’ show. The audience was truly astounding and I am unable to describe the overwhelming emotion of seeing attendees from all over the world come to watch the performance. Such a grand-scale production demands the concerted effort of countless individuals and I wish to express my gratitude to all those who aided us during our stay. A huge thank you to our hosts at for providing logistics, transport and coordination, to the fabulous sponsors for their support, the professors at who allowed us to select the beautiful flowers. We are also grateful to for the bespoke vase, the photographers and videographers, the television and radio professionals for the interviews, as well as all the volunteers who prepared the stage, helped us move between venues and made sure everything was ready for the distinguished guests.
