For my final class, I taught the kids how to design their own “Art in Motion” by incorporating breakdancing into the class. I wanted them to see their art come to life digitally by drawing inspiration from their surroundings. To do this, the kids enjoyed a breakdance showcase to inspire them to create these designs with an energetic mind. I want to give a huge thank you to and b-girl for donating their time to do this for the kids showing them how mutants are insane, they absolutely loved it! To end the class, I recycled some of my spray cans from the murals I have painted and customized them for the kids as a physical gift they can take home with them. 🎨
Lastly, I want to thank & for creating this workshop for the kids. The impact this partnership is having through these classes is priceless. The skills they are going to learn from all the artists involved are going to help them so much in the future. Thank you for having me as one of the guest artists, it has been an honor and I can’t wait to see what the kids will learn next as the program continues. Thank you to Garga and Gordon for the opportunity to be part of this initiative 🙏🏼
