Does the Platform Regularly Purge Fake Followers?

Quick answer

Flinque cannot purge fake followers, since it is not the social network those accounts live on. Only Instagram, TikTok or YouTube can remove bots from a profile. What Flinque does instead is score how authentic each creator's following looks. Inflated accounts then get caught at the shortlist stage.

Does the platform clean out fake or bot followers on a regular basis to keep its data accurate?

This is worth separating clearly. Purging fake followers from an account is something only the host platform can do, since that is where the followers actually sit. No third-party tool reaches in to delete them. So Flinque makes no such claim. What it does is measure authenticity. Each creator profile carries a fake-follower or audience-quality signal drawn from follower sampling, which tells you whether a big number is real reach or padding before you ever contact that person. The practical effect is close to what you want from a purge, since a creator whose audience looks heavily inflated does not survive your filter. You are not cleaning the network. You are refusing to pay for the fakes in the first place.
