Does the Platform Regularly Purge Fake Followers?

The networks themselves sweep periodically and it shows up exactly like that. A creator losing a chunk of followers overnight is usually on the receiving end of a purge rather than the cause of one, and it is mildly good news about the rest of the account.

What you want is a figure with a date on it. An authenticity score from six months ago describes an account that has since grown, been swept and changed audience, so an undated number is close to useless at the point of decision.

This is worth separating clearly. Purging fake followers from an account is something only the host platform can do, since that is where the followers actually sit. No third-party tool reaches in to delete them.

So Flinque makes no such claim. What it does is measure authenticity. Each creator profile carries a fake-follower or audience-quality signal drawn from follower sampling, which tells you whether a big number is real reach or padding before you ever contact that person. The practical effect is close to what you want from a purge, since a creator whose audience looks heavily inflated does not survive your filter.

You are not cleaning the network. You are refusing to pay for the fakes in the first place.
